5K Run - Trail Portion
Both runs use the woodland trails, 5K Run, 3.16 miles. The woodland terrain portion hard packed vehicle roads, grassy trails, possible dirt/mud, soft sand, and sugar sand. Some spots could be muddy and slippery depending on the weather.
5 Mile Run
5 Mile Run
The 5 mile (8K) continues about addition 2 miles to and on the Honeymoon Island north beach.
Course is subject to change depending on conditions. The beach portion varies with beach rocks, soft shell, hard and soft sand. Depending on the tide and wind some some portions of the course near the water could be in the surf or through mangrove roots or sprouts.
Both courses are challenging. Depending on the weather or conditions on Honeymoon Island the course may be altered raced day.
